- Some kids are afraid of the dark, or they may have needed something to light the way to the bathroom. A better choice would have been flashlights, but those may not have been available to them, and hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it. Just glad they all made it ok.

- I can identify with your daughter KimZee. I was reading all kinds of stories by the time I was in 2nd/3rd grade. I started with little mystery novels (like Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew), and progressed into all kinds of horror, vampires, etc...pretty much your list there.

- My MIL and her sister both had breast and cervical cancer, respectively. I worry that my husband may have the gene mutation. This just brings home the fact that breast cancer in men just isn't talked about heavily, and there is no education for what men need to look for.

- These 'parks' are really rescue centers. They take in abandoned cubs and injured animals. They use it as a training and teaching center, so there are many positives. It's not all about getting the tourists to interact with the animals. Most of these centers need the tourists in order to survive.

- It wasn't at this particular park, but my husband, in-laws and I went to a cheetah park in South Africa. I was afraid of this very thing happening. However, the difference was, we did not go into an enclosure with them.
